What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding the actions of a wife characterized by a sharp tongue, disobedience, and defiance, who prevents her husband from communicating with their daughter?

It is forbidden for a wife to harm her husband and his family, or to prevent her daughter from her siblings or from her father, as this is a forbidden severing of kinship ties.

If a wife is defiant, the husband must first admonish her, then abandon her in bed, then strike her with a non-injurious blow.

If the wife does not respond after these stages, it is recommended for the man to divorce her.

It is permissible for the husband to oppress his wife and make things difficult for her so that she may ransom herself from him, if she commits a clear indecency like defiance.
