Is it permissible for my husband to reside with me in the house without marital relations during the waiting period (iddah), and is it valid to engage in marital relations with the intention of him taking me back, and can I wear revealing clothes in front of him, and is it permissible to kiss his head for reconciliation after a revocable divorce (first pronouncement), knowing that there is a conflict of opinions among marriage registrars (ma'dhunin) regarding the wife's return during the iddah?

If a husband has divorced his wife with a revocable divorce, he has the right to take her back during her 'iddah (waiting period), and she must remain in the marital home and adorn herself for him. If he has intercourse with her, the return (to the marital relationship) is accomplished. The divorce certificate must be corrected if it contradicts the reality. However, if the divorce is an irrevocable divorce, he has no right to take her back except with a new contract, and it is not permissible for her to remain with him, or to adorn herself for him, or to touch him, because he has become a stranger to her.
