Is it obligatory for the father who offers a sacrifice to offer one on behalf of his son living with him in the same house?

If your father provides for you, his sacrifice is sufficient for you and your family. However, if you are financially independent, you must make a sacrifice for yourself and your family. If you and your father share expenses and provisions, then according to the Maliki school, each of you must offer a sacrifice. In contrast, according to the Shafi'i and Hanafi schools, a single sacrifice is sufficient for both of you.
