If the suitor is a man of religiosity and good character, and he shaves his beard for a temporary reason, there is no impediment to accepting him. There is no report from the Salaf prohibiting the marriage of a niqab-wearing woman to a man who shaves his beard. The beard alone is not the sole criterion for accepting a suitor; good morals and virtues are also necessary.
