Is it obligatory to relinquish one's rights and obey the elder brother who intentionally commits injustice, or is obedience due only to the father?

The sister must respect her brother and obey him in matters that do not contradict Islamic law, especially if he commands good or forbids evil. This is part of revering the elder, which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, encouraged. The father must fulfill his role as the guardian of his household. Obedience is due to the father in ordinary, non-harmful matters, not the brother, and disobeying the father is an act of disobedience to parents. Relinquishing rights to the brother is permissible and even commendable if it does not cause harm, and it is forbidden for the brother to wrong his sister.
