Is it permissible to take a wage for work completed through personal effort and the effort of one's children, knowing that the money was originally allocated for hiring laborers?

It is not permissible for someone who has been appointed as an agent for selling or leasing to sell or lease to himself, or to his child, or his parent, or anyone with whom he is suspected of bias, except with the permission of the principal. This is because the agent is suspected of partiality towards them and tends to neglect seeking the best price. Leasing is similar to selling in this regard.
