Does the warning mentioned in the Hadith apply to one who imprisoned an ant, a cockroach, or a beetle until it died? And does an animal have a higher sanctity than an insect?

Islam has accorded sanctity to animals, prohibiting their torture or unjust killing, and enjoining kindness when slaughtering them. Whoever transgresses in this regard has committed a sin. Prophetic traditions have indicated the prohibition of torturing animals with fire, a woman's entry into Hellfire because she imprisoned a cat, and the forgiveness granted to a man who gave water to a dog. It is impermissible to imprison a respected animal until its death; rather, it must be fed and watered, or set free. It is permissible to kill a harmful animal with kindness. This religion respects all creatures, and the Holy Quran has clarified that animals are communities like us and that their sustenance is provided by Allah. A Muslim must respect all creatures and not harm them, except for those whose killing has been permitted due to their harmful nature, such as snakes, scorpions, and rabid dogs, and this must be done with kindness.
