Is it permissible to purchase from a factory that has an exclusive agent for a specific product, by purchasing the same product but under a different brand name, and without the knowledge of the agent?

An exclusive agency is a contract between a principal and a party chosen by him to sell and distribute his products exclusively in a specific country in exchange for an agreed-upon commission. As long as this exclusive agent is within the contract period with the manufacturer, it is not permissible to entice the manufacturer to sell the same commodity or to terminate the contract with him, unless the exclusive agency contract does not cover the sale of the product at all, in which case the manufacturer may sell the commodity under a different name.
