Is it permissible to take out an interest-bearing loan for the purpose of marriage, due to the inability to secure sufficient funds for it, as a result of the dire circumstances the questioner is experiencing, which prevent him from obtaining permanent employment?

Borrowing with usury is one of the major sins and one of the seven destructive sins that incur curses and obliterate blessings. It is not permissible to engage in it except in cases of extreme necessity, such as fear of perishing. Securing marriage expenses is not considered a necessity. And whoever fears Allah and relies upon Him, He will provide for him good sustenance from where he does not expect.
