Is it obligatory to buy genuine Windows when selling a computer that has non-genuine Windows on it?

You must remove the non-genuine Windows copy from the old device before selling it. It is permissible to install a genuine copy on it and sell it along with it. Purchasing a genuine copy without installing it does not make it permissible to sell the non-genuine copy.
