Is it permissible to abandon disobedient sisters and travel to escape with one's religion?

A Muslim is obligated to care for his family and shield them from the Hellfire. A son is responsible for guiding his sisters, and gentleness, kindness, and love must be employed in inviting them [to the truth]. Abandoning one's family and shunning them under the pretext of safeguarding one's faith is a sign of weakness. The strong believer who mingles with people and endures their harm is better than the weak believer.
