Is there harm in being in a room where Surat Al-Baqarah is played on the premise that it burns jinn?

The devil flees from a house in which Surat al-Baqarah is recited. It does not harm the one who recites it; rather, it is a protection and a healing, by Allah's permission, for whoever is in the house, whether they suffer from demonic possession or not. The Holy Qur'an is guidance, healing, and mercy for the believers.
