What is your comment on the existence of obstacles and huge sums of money for Hajj, while residents within Saudi Arabia perform Hajj for small sums for luxury Hajj?

Allah has ordained Hajj for those who are able, and spending money on it magnifies the reward. Allah rewards every dirham seven hundredfold, whether Hajj is from near or far. It has been reported in the Hadith (definition) that the reward for Hajj and Umrah (definition) is commensurate with the hardship and expenditure, and the expenditure in them is like spending in the way of Allah, seven hundredfold. It is recommended to be humble and wear humble clothing during Hajj, following the example of the Prophets. It is preferable to spend according to need and distribute any surplus to those in need.
