How do we respond to someone who claims that the Messenger, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, had a connection with jinn and learned news and facts from them?

The Quran, being miraculous in its style and challenging humanity to produce its like, coupled with the truthfulness of the future prophecies foretold by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and Allah's support for him and His triumph over his enemies, all prove that it is the word of the Lord of the Worlds. Imam Ibn al-Qayyim argued against the Jews that their denial of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, implies attributing ignorance or incapability to Allah. For if he were a liar, Allah would not have supported him, granted him victory, and elevated his word. Rather, this is a testament to his truthfulness and prophethood.
