Is "Yes, for the حمام (bathhouse)" a Prophetic Hadith or a saying, and if it is a Hadith, what type is it?

The saying "How excellent is the bathhouse (hammam)" was narrated by a group of Companions, including Abu Darda, Abu Hurayrah, and Ibn Umar. Ibn Hajar described it as "sahih (definition) mawquf" (authentic, stopped at a Companion) and it is in praise of the hammam. Narrations have also been reported that condemn the hammam, such as the marfu' (traced back to the Prophet) hadith (definition) from Ibn Abbas: "Beware of a house called the hammam," and "How evil is the hammam; voices are raised in it, and private parts are exposed in it." However, what has been reported in praise or condemnation of the hammam is not authentically traced back to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him; rather, it was transmitted from the Companions and those who came after them. The praise is understood to apply to one situation, and the condemnation to another. What is meant by "hammam" is the place where water is heated for washing and cleanliness.
