ما هو حكم تسمية بناية باسم "المجيد" مع العلم أنه اسم من أسماء الله الحسنى؟

The name "Al-Majid" (The Most Glorious) is one of Allah's established Beautiful Names. Naming with the names of Allah Almighty is divided into two categories: First, if the name is intended to denote the attribute of Allah Almighty, then it is not permissible for anyone other than Allah to be named with it, such as someone being named Al-Aziz (The Almighty) or Al-Majid (The Most Glorious), because that would ascribe to them the attribute encompassed in the name. Second, if the name is not prefixed with "Al-" (the definite article) and is not intended to convey the meaning of the attribute but merely to serve as a proper noun, then there is no harm in it, such as Majid or Hakim. Accordingly, it is not permissible to name a building "Al-Majid" with the definite article "Al-", especially given the meaning encompassed by the name.
