Is it permissible to frequently inform close relatives and friends about good dreams that come true, knowing that the Messenger, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, commanded us to conceal disliked dreams, and it was said, "Every possessor of a blessing is envied"?
It is permissible to speak of good tidings in dreams to loved ones and friends, and it is permissible to conceal them, especially when fearing envy. As for disliked dreams, they should be kept secret and not spoken about. This is based on what is narrated in the Hadith: that a good dream is from Allah. If one sees what he likes, he should tell it to those he loves. But if he sees what he dislikes, he should spit lightly to his left three times and seek refuge in Allah from Satan, and not tell anyone about it, for it will not harm him.
