Is it permissible to fulfill the need of a disbelieving neighbor?

If it is customary for a neighbor to fulfill another neighbor's need, then there is no harm in fulfilling the need of a disbelieving neighbor, such as purchasing fruit or food, because it is a form of honoring the neighbor. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his neighbor." As for what is not customary, its permissibility depends on the benefit it brings.
