What is the ruling on girls publishing personal photos of themselves on social media, for the purpose of advocating for wearing the hijab and loose clothing, using Quranic verses for this purpose, regardless of whether the intention is purely for the sake of Allah or for the purpose of increasing followers and profiting from advertisements, and is this permissible from an da'wah (Islamic propagation) perspective?

A woman is not permitted to publish her pictures that show what men are not allowed to see of her. This is not permissible even for the purpose of advocating for the hijab. Similarly, it is not allowed to write Qur'anic verses on them.

Creating a da'wah (Islamic propagation) account solely to gain followers and profit, without the intention of seeking reward from Allah, is a reprehensible act. However, creating an account with the intention of drawing closer to Allah and spreading good, while also intending to profit, carries no harm, and its owner will be rewarded, Allah willing. This is because mixing the intention of reward with worldly gain in deeds does not entirely invalidate the reward, unlike someone whose sole intention for their action is worldly gain, for whom there is no reward.
