The Two 마지막 Surahs (Al-Mu'awwidhatayn) are among the best Surahs of the Holy Quran. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek refuge with them and recite them upon himself when he felt ill. These two Surahs teach servants to seek refuge with Allah Almighty and to seek His protection from the evil of His creatures. Surah Al-Falaq commands seeking refuge with Allah from the evil of what He created, from the evil of the night when it darkens, from the evil of sorcerers, and from the evil of the envious, and it confirms the reality of the evil eye, envy, and sorcery. Surah An-Nas commands seeking refuge with Allah from the evil of Iblis and his whispers, and from the evil of his helpers from among the devils of mankind and jinn.
