What is the ruling on having a cross in the home when my wife is a Christian who respects Islam?

A Christian wife has the right to practice her religious rituals, and her Muslim husband is not permitted to prevent her from doing so, unless it infringes upon his private rights, because we have acknowledged their right to do so. Imam Ahmad was asked: Should he prevent her from bringing a cross into his house? He replied: "He should instruct her, but not prevent her."
