What is the ruling on slaughtering a sheep called "Al-Wanisa" when the deceased is carried out of his home, with the aim of comforting him in his grave?

"Al-Waneesah" is an animal sacrifice offered immediately after burying the deceased, or by spending the first night at the grave after burial to "comfort" the deceased. Both actions are blameworthy innovations that have no basis in Islamic law. Every innovation is a misguidance and is rejected, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever introduces into this matter of ours that which does not belong to it, it will be rejected."
