What is the ruling on a girl who desires to wear the niqab and believes it is obligatory, but her family strongly objects, and what is Islam's ruling on her family?

If a girl believes that the niqab is obligatory, she must adhere to it and is not permitted to abandon it, regardless of her family's disapproval, while still honoring and obeying them in what is good. There is concern that the family might incur sin by preventing her from wearing the lawful Islamic attire. She should insist on her stance, while being kind to them and informing them of the importance of hijab. She should seek Allah's help and rely on Him, for whoever fears Allah and perseveres—Allah does not waste the reward of the doers of good. And whoever relies on Him—He is sufficient for him.
