Is it permissible to complete a voluntary fast after the husband asked one to break it, and then gave permission to complete the fast?

If a husband orders his wife to break her voluntary fast because he needs her, she must obey him and break her fast, because obedience to the husband is obligatory and takes precedence over completing a recommended voluntary fast. However, if he does not need her, she commits no sin if she does not break her fast. And if the husband waives his right and permits her to fast, she commits no sin, but he must offer expiation for his oath.
