Is it permissible to seek help from an "acquaintance" to win a position in a recruitment competition, and is that considered depriving another person of their right?

Intercession for government jobs is impermissible unless the individual is qualified for the position and does not displace someone more deserving. Otherwise, it is forbidden if it results in depriving a more qualified and deserving person of the job, due to the injustice it inflicts upon the rightful claimants, the responsible authority, and the nation, and the resentments it generates. However, if it does not lead to the loss of anyone's right, then it is permissible and even encouraged by Islamic law. Intercession to grant an applicant unearned points is prohibited because it constitutes injustice and deception. As for the private sector, the matter is easier, as a qualified person may seek intercession to obtain a job, provided there is no deception or fraud involved against the employer.
