What is the ruling on praying four continuous rak'ahs for Tarawih?

If the Tarawih prayer consists of four continuous rak'ahs without a taslim (salutation of peace), there is no objection to that. And if the intention is to have a break between every four rak'ahs, this is also permissible, as it is established from some of the Salaf (pious predecessors).
