What is the meaning of the dhikr: "You are Peace, and from You is Peace; Blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor" and "Much, good, blessed praise in which [He is praised]"?

The remembrance (dhikr) mentioned in the first part is found in a authentic hadith narrated by Muslim from Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) finished his prayer, he would seek forgiveness three times and then say: "Allahumma Antas-Salam, wa minkas-salam, tabarakta Ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram" (O Allah, You are Peace, and from You comes peace; blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor). Its meaning is: "Allahumma Antas-Salam" means You are free from defects and calamities, and "wa minkas-salam" means from You peace is hoped for and obtained, and "tabarakta" means You are exalted above what the wrongdoers say, and "Ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram" means O You who deserves greatness and benevolence.

As for the second remembrance, it was narrated by Al-Bukhari from Rifaa bin Rafi Az-Zuraqi, who said: We were praying behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and when he raised his head from bowing, he said: "Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah" (Allah hears those who praise Him). A man then said: "Rabbana wa lakal-hamd, hamdan tayyiban mubarakan fih" (Our Lord, to You be all praise, a good, blessed praise). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) then said: "I saw thirty-odd angels competing to see which of them would write it down first." Its meaning is: praise be to Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, a plentiful, good, and blessed praise, meaning, pure from showing off.
