Is the remembrance (dhikr) mentioned in the Hadith: "Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi, adada khalqihi, wa rida nafsihi, wa zinata arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi" (Glory be to Allah and with His praise, as many times as the number of His creation, in accordance with His pleasure, to the weight of His Throne, and to the extent of the ink of His words) restricted to a specific time?

The Hadith: "Subhan Allah al-Azim wa bihamdihi, adada khalqihi, Subhan Allah rida nafsihi, Subhan Allah zinata arshihi, Subhan Allah midada kalimatihi" (Glorified is Allah, the Most Great, and praised be He, as many times as the number of His creations, glorified is Allah to the extent that pleases Him, glorified is Allah as much as the weight of His Throne, glorified is Allah as much as the ink of His words) was narrated by Muslim (2727). It is a magnificent remembrance due to the praise of Allah it encompasses. The Prophet (peace be upon him) mentioned it after the Fajr prayer, as entitled by Al-Nawawi under "Chapter: Supplication at the Beginning of the Day" and by Al-Bayhaqi under "Chapter: Sayings, Supplications, and Glorifications after the Prescribed Prayer following the Salam." Some scholars hold that this dhikr (remembrance) is absolute and not restricted to a specific time, because the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not restrict it to a time, and his saying it at the beginning of the day does not mean it is exclusive to that time. Therefore, Ibn Khuzaymah entitled it "Chapter: The Virtue of Tahmid, Tasbih, and Takbir with a Description of the Great Number of Allah's Creations or Other Than His Creations," and Ibn Hibban entitled it "Mention of the Tasbih which Allah Almighty Grants a Person the Reward of the Weight of the Heavens," and Al-Bayhaqi in "Shu'ab al-Iman" (Branches of Faith) entitled it "Section: On the Perpetuation of the Remembrance of Allah Almighty." Ibn Baz also mentioned it among the recommended remembrances without restricting it to a specific time.
