Is it permissible to work with usurious banks in preparing real estate appraisal reports upon which usurious loans are granted, knowing that the beneficiary is the one who pays the fees?

The apprehension about working on studies and real estate appraisal reports that are used as a basis for usurious loans is a valid apprehension, indicating an alert conscience and the presence of faith. This is because such work constitutes cooperation in prohibited sin. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah has cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses," and he said: "They are all equal."

Accordingly, it is not permissible to work in this field due to its prohibition. Legitimate alternatives are numerous, and whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect.
