Is it forbidden to enroll in a university that is unrelated to one's field of work, solely for the purpose of obtaining a university degree, while receiving exam answers in order to pass?

There is no objection to enrolling in a university and studying there to obtain a degree in any field, because the basic principle is permissibility, and whatever has no evidence prohibiting it remains permissible.

However, it is not permissible to apply for a job with a university degree deceitfully, claiming it is in the same specialization while it differs from it, as this is forbidden deception. Likewise, obtaining exam answers is considered forbidden deception according to Sharia.

As for working in a position that requires a university rank with a degree that differs from the field of work, there is no religious objection to it, but one must refer to the terms of the contract, regulations, and applicable system.
