Divorce according to the is when a man divorces his wife with a single pronouncement during a period of purity in which he has not had intercourse with her. If he divorces her three times during her menstrual period, then his wife becomes unlawful for him and she will not be permissible for him until she marries another husband, according to the opinion of the majority of scholars.
