What is the ruling on going to a male psychiatrist without the knowledge or consent of one's parents, and the ruling on using the father's money to go to him without his knowledge or consent?

The fundamental principle is that it is not permissible for a woman to seek treatment from a male doctor if a trustworthy female doctor is available, except out of necessity or need, while observing the Islamic guidelines. It is not permissible to dispose of the father's money except with his consent, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The property of a Muslim person is not lawful [to take], except with his willing consent." However, if the father refuses to spend on his daughter's treatment despite her need for it, then there is no blame upon her for taking from his money to the extent of her need, without his knowledge or consent.
