Is it permissible for a married woman whose husband is absent for a long time to masturbate?

Masturbation (self-abuse) is forbidden. You must fear Allah and stay away from unlawful desires, due to the calamities it brings and the deprivation of sustenance. Regarding the husband's absence for more than ten months, the wife has the right to demand that he reduce the period of absence, as he is not permitted to be absent from her for more than six months except with her permission, or for her to move with him to his workplace to avoid forbidden acts.
