Is working as an accountant in a law firm that deals with collecting banks' debts from defaulting borrowers forbidden (haram)?

The company's work in litigation, lawsuits, and debt recovery is permissible, unless the lawsuits are false or the debts involve usury. In such cases, the work becomes forbidden, as Allah Almighty says: "And do not be an advocate for the traitors." It is permissible for the brother to work as an accountant in a company that mixes permissible and forbidden activities, provided that his work is confined to the permissible matters. However, his accounting for the company's fees in collecting usurious debts is a form of assistance and participation in forbidden work, as Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate not in sin and aggression."
