Is it permissible to eat from an animal slaughtered as a vow for salvation from an accident?

Your statement, "When I receive the money, I will do it," has two cases:

1. If you intended it as a vow (nadhr) and a commitment: You are obligated to fulfill it. You may eat from it if you intended that at the time of making the vow. However, if you intended it for the poor, you may not eat from it. If your intention was unspecified, then it is safer not to eat from it. 2.
