What is the ruling on a righteous man who died with an unfulfilled vow, and he has no family to fulfill it on his behalf? Will he be deprived of his reward on the Day of Resurrection?

A vow incumbent upon the deceased falls into one of two categories:

1. If it is a vow involving wealth, it is to be disbursed from their estate before its division among the heirs. 2. If it is a vow of pure worship (like fasting or Hajj), their guardian is asked to fulfill it on their behalf, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever dies with fasts incumbent upon them, their guardian should fast on their behalf."

As for someone who was obliged by a vow and died before being able to fulfill it, it is hoped that no sin will befall them due to their not having been negligent.
