This woman must be reminded that prayer is not waived as long as one is conscious. She must pray according to her ability, as evidenced by the of Imran ibn Husain: "Pray standing; if you are unable, then sitting; if you are unable, then on your side." It should also be clarified that prayer is the pillar of the religion and its second fundamental principle, and that abandoning it poses a grave danger. Continue advising her gently and wisely, and treat her kindly with service and good words. Abandoning her is not permissible unless such abandonment serves as a deterrent and leads to her repentance, and only to the extent necessary.
