What should I do about taking a copy of the Qur’an when I was young from a Qur’anic institute that I did not own, then donating it later, and then discovering that this action was theft, given that the institute’s management has changed and I cannot return a replacement copy of the Qur’an?

You bear no sin for the theft committed before puberty. However, after puberty, the Qur'an must be returned to the entity from which it was taken, such as an institute. It can be sent as an endowment or through one of the institute's students or teachers.
