How can a female student reconcile her desire to marry a young man she met online with her mother's strong rejection, especially since he is threatening suicide if the marriage does not take place?

Islam warns against establishing relationships between the sexes outside of marriage and prohibits dating programs to prevent temptation. Entering chat rooms and forming a relationship with a foreign young man is wrong, and one should not insist on marrying him under the pretext of love and threatening him with suicide. A young man who establishes relationships online lacks religious deterrence, and threatening suicide indicates weakness of faith or blackmail. Such a marriage will lead to suspicion and distrust. One must repent to Allah, cut off the relationship with this young man, and start a new life full of chastity, regret, avoidance of temptations, righteous deeds, reading the Quran, and associating with righteous women.
