Is it permissible to pray in trousers that fell into a bathroom with water and were then wiped with water?

The basic principle concerning water found on the bathroom floor is that it is pure. It does not become impure unless one is certain of its impurity. Therefore, if trousers fall into this water and one is not certain of its impurity, they do not become impure, and there is no need to wash them. Prayer performed in them is valid. This is based on the rule that the default state of something is purity unless the presence of impurity is certain, in accordance with the Prophetic tradition: "He should not leave until he hears a sound or perceives a smell."
