Is it a sin not to adhere to the memorization method prescribed by the academy and to submit reports that do not conform to reality in order to meet its requirements, and how can one expiate for it?

If the academy stipulates a particular method for memorization, the student must adhere to it, fulfilling their contracts, based on the Almighty's saying: ﴿O you who have believed, fulfill [your] contracts,﴾ and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Muslims are bound by their conditions." If time does not permit, they must be informed. If they do not allow it, then seek another [academy]. Lying is a grave sin, especially concerning the memorization of the Quran and the fulfillment of trusts, and it leads to immorality and Hellfire. Truthfulness guides to righteousness and Paradise. Repentance for lying and seeking forgiveness are obligatory.
