Which is better: to repeatedly perform a voluntary Hajj for oneself, or alternately for a deceased relative or a living person unable to perform Hajj?

It is better for a Muslim to perform Hajj for themselves, as this is the original principle, and to supplicate for themselves and for others. It is permissible to perform Hajj on behalf of a deceased or incapacitated parent, provided that Hajj is performed for each of them separately, and after one has performed the obligatory Hajj for themselves. However, if the mother has already performed her obligatory Hajj, it is better for the son to perform Hajj for himself and supplicate for her, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When a person dies, all his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who supplicates for him," and he did not mention performing Hajj on her behalf.
