When does the iddah (waiting period) of the questioner's mother end, given that her husband, the questioner's father, passed away on the afternoon of November 29, 2014?

If the mother is pregnant, her 'iddah ends upon delivery, as Allah Almighty says: "And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they deliver their burdens." If she is not pregnant, her 'iddah is four months and ten days, as Allah Almighty says: "And those of you who die and leave wives behind - they, [the wives], shall wait concerning themselves for four months and ten [days]." The 'iddah begins from the time of death and is calculated by lunar months, with the month of death being completed to thirty days if the death occurred during the month. If the father passed away on 7 Safar 1436 AH, her 'iddah would end on 17 or 18 Jumada al-Akhirah of the same year, and she would exit the 'iddah at the same hour the father passed away.
