Is there Zakat on stored fodder, to be added to the Zakat on trade goods upon the passing of a year?

There is no Zakat on fodder for sheep, whether it is from the remaining harvest of the land or purchased. In the first case, its Zakat was already paid, and in the second, it is not for trade. As for the sheep themselves, if they are for trade and are fed for most of the year, Zakat is due on them as trade goods. This is the more probable opinion, as it is more beneficial for the poor. However, if they are for milk and offspring, there is no Zakat on them unless they graze for most of the year; otherwise, Zakat for pasturing livestock would be due.
