How can it be said that Islam honored women when it did not give them an equal share in inheritance as men, made guardianship the responsibility of men, did not grant them the right to divorce, and forbade them from being rulers?

A Muslim must believe in the perfection of Allah's knowledge, wisdom, and justice. He is not to be questioned about what He does. The foundation of servitude is submission to the commands and prohibitions of the Sharia, without depending on understanding the detailed wisdom behind them. Women in Islam are honored and equal to men in rights, duties, and reward. The Sharia has specified rulings for them that suit their creation, such as the guardianship (qawamah) of men and the preference for men in inheritance. One must beware of doubts and those who promote them, repent from evil suspicions, and turn to Allah through supplication, remembrance (dhikr), and good deeds.
