Is mistreating one's wife by divorcing her due to a lack of love for her, her beauty, and her harsh words, or by marrying another woman without her knowledge?

Married life is a long journey that requires careful consideration when choosing a wife. Istikhara (seeking guidance from Allah) is important, as it has been said: "He who seeks guidance from Allah will not be disappointed, and he who consults will not regret." Divorce is permissible when there is a need for it, but it is disliked otherwise and may even be forbidden. It is advised to hold onto one's wife as much as possible. However, if there is a fear that the marital relationship will not last, then divorce is better, especially if there are no children yet, to avoid negative consequences for them. It is permissible to keep her and marry another woman, provided that justice is maintained between them.
