How can one reconcile the virtue of saying "Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi" (Glory be to Allah and with His praise) one hundred times with the prohibition of exceeding the number mentioned in adhkar (remembrances)?

Dhikr is divided into two categories: absolute and restricted.

Absolute Dhikr: This is Dhikr that is not restricted by time, place, or state, and it is recommended to do it frequently.

Restricted Dhikr: This is Dhikr that is restricted by time, place, state, or number. The principle here is to adhere to what has been legislated, in terms of its wording and number, except for what the Sharī‘ah has explicitly permitted to increase, such as saying "Subḥān Allāh wa bi ḥamdih" a hundred times, or "Lā ilāha illā Allāh waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-ḥamdu wa huwa ‘alā kulli shay’in qadīr" a hundred times. In these cases, it is permissible to exceed this number.
