Is it permissible to divide a sum of money designated for a patient whose condition is officially documented with another patient suffering from the same illness but who lacks documentation, knowing that the latter patient is in dire need and refrains from submitting documents out of self-respect?

It is not permissible to dispose of money given as charity to a specific person without their permission, because it becomes their property upon receipt. Disposing of it without their permission is an infringement upon their right. This is based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The property of a Muslim person is not lawful unless given with their cheerful consent." And, "Indeed, your blood and your wealth are sacred to you." Therefore, the money must be handed over to the rightful recipient as instructed by the donor, and it is not permissible to dispose of it by including another poor person.
