Does a wife whose husband passed away inherit from him after he told her "You are divorced" two days before his death?

If a wife is divorced with a revocable divorce and is still within her waiting period ('iddah), she inherits from her ex-husband if he dies, and she observes the 'iddah of death for him. However, if the divorce is irrevocable (the third divorce), she does not inherit, nor does she observe the 'iddah of death.
