Does divorce take effect upon uttering the phrase "Divorce be upon me" without the intention of pronouncing it, but rather out of astonishment at the frequent use of this expression?

Uttering the divorce pronouncement, if it is not intended as an initiation [of divorce], but rather as a recounting of someone else's statement or similar, then divorce does not take effect thereby. It is advised to turn away from whisperings (waswas) and seek Allah's help through abundant supplication.
